I love the colors and the background effects but overall composition holds this work down. Text mostly needs to have the informational purpose aswell as it just has to be properly placred to gain attention but not all of it. Your focal point should be the driving Monta Ellis, but right now he is clogged down by the background effects.

I think it could look better with a different text and Monta Ellis a lot higher than he is at the moment.

It's a great start in my opinion mostly thanks to the background and overall coloring, just some flaws that need to be addressed imo ;-)
