Yes! You made this work a LOT better in my opinion. I love how he is placed, only I would think about moving him a bit to the left or right . It is known that centering and image regarding an athlete who is in motion always takes it away when he is in center of the canvas... But on the other hand you could just move him a bit higher to show that he is basiclly "flying" in the other. Overall great work by you two but you made this a really good wallpaper!
