They don't rise above the rest of the movie and only add more flow to it so I thought that FFC did a great on that. But the ending scene of the 2nd one is indeed one of the best ever made and probably my fav along with the Deer Hunter one. It just perfectly sums up all the Corleone characters in only like 5 or so minutes spell which is quite amazing!

Yeah I completely agree. And like I said, don't get me wrong. The first is far superior to II in almost every way possible. I just wanted to make a case for the part II.
And to fresh, please, you have to watch the movies. But don't watch them on TV. It's just too long with commercials and everything gets broken up. You gotta watch part one is a straight 3 hour slot. It's complex, so the first viewing you might not even fully appreciate it/understand it. I know I didn't, and I know many others didn't either. But the direction, acting, lighting, camera movement, everything is completely amazing. So give them a shot one day.
