aaaargh i felt so sorry for russel robertson on the weekend. i heard he might miss next season aswell with the achilles injury.

lol fremantle finally won another game......and once again the eagles lose. last nights hawthorn vs adelaide game was a great finish but was a bit boring at time because there were so many stoppages.

Being in australia the past 2 weeks has reminded me AFL is the greatest game to watch....and one of the best games known to man.

its so fluent, so physical, and so competitve/passionate, every goal there is mass celebration, etc. It just rapes american stop and start football.



My Essendon has played well recently :P, but i watched the Hawthorn Sydney game, and the west caost richmond games today,

what the **** happened to west coast....they were at the top when i left, they're god awful now.

and Hawthorns full-forward Lance or whatever, what a ****in beast, when did he come into the league? he's unstopable

^NFL > AFL any day of the week. yeh eagles have sucked this season after being a great team for the last 3 seasons. they lost thier best player before this season and theres been so much controversy around the club with drug scandals and what not. also their senior players have been playing like crap and you would have seen that nobodys from richmond (who were missing there best player) schooled the eagles and their forwards killed the eagles so called 'superstar' backmen.


Lance Franklin is a freakin beast, he's struggled a bit in a couple of games this week and today kicked 4gls 7bhs but is still such a dominant player with his size and speed. i think he's been around for about 3-4 years but is still only 21 years old

St.Kilda is starting to hit good form which is nice to see finally. Our forward line in my opinion is much more structured now with the exclusion of Fraser Gehrig, and Riewoldt/Koschitzke doing the work upforward. Milne has been superb in our 3-game winning streak, and youngster David Armitage has really proven he is a solid midfielder/forward.

If we can beat Hawthorn next week, I'm positive we will play finals football and be serious contenders. Also, if we win next week we could possibly jump to 6th place on the ladder and have a slight chance of maybe fighting for that 4th spot, as Geelong, Western Bulldogs, and Hawthorn already have the 1,2, and 3 positions already wrapped up.
