This is a mix about Kobe Bryant & his "big brother" Michael Jordan & his "brothers" in the nba. This is on the Kanye West song big brother. Kanye=Kobe & Jay-z=Michael. Debut mix for the nbad mixing team. It took me about 15 dyas to make this becasue finding footage was hard. This is like my 16th or 18th mix idk. But first ever on Veags & i must say its very good for a first on Vegas. Well there are a couple of parts that werent edited right but hopefully you wont notice & pay attention to the lyrics & the footage even the little stuff. So enjoy it. Plus watch in HQ on youtube.

I honestly find it very difficult to believe how much the mixing game has been raised the past 1-2 years. Your average every day mix was a sh1tty .wmm type mix in the yinka dare vein back in 2005 whereas nowadays it goes something like this! But enough with my rant, about the mix now.

This one was pretty nice, loved how you edted the footage with the song and the mix gave a warm feeling to the viewer. There are things that could've been done better and to tel you the truth I think the main idea with the "brothers" wasn't that great but I liked watching the mix as a well made highlight reel. Props on this one man, you had me wanting for more when it ended.

Yeah i enjoyed the mix. There were alot of spots were you couldve improved (at 0:55 what was that?) but you showed alot of improvement. This mix was pretty emotional, and nice to watch.

So props.

@arlubas i know exactly what your saying. Technology is getting so much more advanced, and its alot easier to get your hands on clips nowadays

lol at :55 idk i was just messing around & found that under effects & put it in. but the giant light burst after was supposed to be on the beat but it didnt work like i planned. lol. bu thnx a whole lot though

Nice mix. its funny Im working on a similar idea, same song and everything. You did plent things right. But there are a few things you could have improved on. A few sections where you could have used more of a story telling stye instead of just using highlights. And also in the sections about "who was no_id's friend no_id's my mentor" you could have used clips of people that Jordan & Kobe have in common. Like Majic & Phil Jackson.

And in a way you did but the timing could have been better.

Keep it up though.

yea i did want to use phil jackson but i couldnt find anything so i was like well let me use dr.j thats one part i dont like about my mix
