I thought it was a decent mix. It was a little slow, or dull for my liking. Really too many in game angles too if you ask me. I dont know if those were my caps, but I only include in game angles for mixers to use the announcers calls, and maybe emotional clips, but thats the only reason their in my caps. But I thought you showed some good highlights, the ending was cool with Allen draining all those three's, nice match edits there. The text lyrics was cool, I always thought that was a cool idea to do in a mix. Just keep mixing.

Oh and dont worry about an AVI file, I'm a Mac user and thats worse than .wmv. Only .mov's work well.

Lol anyway nice mix, looked a bit like venoms last playoff entry style wise but overall I liked the whole theme and feel of it.

Haha, and thanks for the in depth comment. I always hated the 2 word comments like "nice mix" and thats it. And yes, most of those caps were yours, they're all awesome because they are all HD. But i thought this was a pretty good mix for 3 days. But im not really a sports mixer, im all about movie editing. Thats the main style i know how to edit, so this being my first mix in a couple of months, i kinda forgot the style and pace that sports highlights go in.

Dont be hatin too much Flur. Besides, you should come on over to the dark side that is Apple anyways. We're hiring an assistant editor at work, you want in? 18/hr...but thats one hell of a commute. The mix did look like my Boston mix now that I think about it too, and when the hell is the finals thread coming?

Anyways, addressing lilballer. Sorry if I came off like an ass. It was a good mix, esp for the little time spent on it, and for being your first mix in months. I am a film editor as well, and it took me a good 3 or so mixes to get this style down. But if you feel like keeping with that cinematic style, you can. Check out Vincent Da's mixes, or LD2K, all very cinematic, walter murch style.

We got a landing strip, did you wanna fly with playmates every morning as well? Gotta hurry up though, were interviewing an asian on monday, and you know he's gonna be good...

It's good. A hell of alot of documentary and independent work, and animation. Sound editing is pretty damn big here with lucas and thx. LA is better, but I gotta finish school up before I go down. But I might be going down to do some work on an FX show. We'll see.

Ya, but then agian, those independent's do built up your reel and experience alot, so when you do go to L.A, you got a better chance.
