A slower mix concentrating more on imagery than gfx (kept at a minimum), so a bit of a change of pace for me. All footage is from the last 3 seasons, with a couple of exceptions.

Off the countless mixes I've watched throughout my years on M2 I have to admit that this was the first one that made me go like "This could've been made by myself". Seriously I think this mix is fitting of my style perfectly (not saying you coppied it or anything, you just hit the spot I usually go for with my own mixes) and needless to say I really enjoyed it. Good job man, this one was deep.

Thanks man. Just today I watched some of your non-highlight mixes (the ones with the ambient music) and yeah we do share a similar style. Maybe it's because we're of a similar age :smile:

Not sure about you, but normally I will hear a song that I enjoy, and see the mix in my head. From there I will try to recreate that. The music is always the foundation and never thrown in as an afterthought.

Everything is well put together except for some clips in the very beginning that should have been slow paced too imo. Nonetheless it's definitely worth a watch. I like slow paced emotional mixes more than highlight fast paced ones

Thats exactly what i do, and have always done. I dont just start making mixes, i hear the song, then in my head i can clearly picture how the mix would look, then i make it.

Good job man, i loved some of the old flashbacks, the mj dunk and dribbling while it being like a split screen effect, and the subtle flashes of red in thebackground. It was great. It kind of reminded me of Soul Of the Game minus mos def inspirational and the fast paced parts.

That was incredible. I know i say a lot of nice things to just about everyone, but this mix was honestly incredible. It's about as emotional as a mix can get. I know i know that song from somewhere, what movie is it from? That's not mansell is it? I thought i remember it from the fountain or a requiem trailer. Man that's gonna bug me.

Anyways, I loved the style of this. You chose GREAT clips, had a solid intro and outro. You displayed the "story" of the nba through great visual methods. Sound mixing was very well done. Color was balanced, I also liked the red color elements floating around. Flashbacks transitioned well to one another. Great use of non action, emotional clips, and slow motion.

Just a spectacular job, I'm glad some of my caps when into making greatness like this.
