Are you kidding me? You crazy? That thread has to be the worst thread ever to be created on m2. Here's why:

1. You had a bunch of spam
2. Dudes come in just to increase their post count
3. Everyday, you'd see 2 members post back and forth about one and other
3. "good member, is very active and nice sig" WOW THAT SAYS A LOT BOUT THE MEMBER :WTF:
4. Always the SAME fuucking members posting in that thread
5. I hate Sanhozfinest.

As long as it's not moronic or doesn't get created just to post someone's post count then no you shouldn't be afraid. There is a difference between posting threads and spamming. Go check Urban dictionary if you want more specific definitions of spam.
