real easy in england, get in jail for a crappy crime, come out and go get benefits, they pay plenty here, then get some qualification from borrowing money off guys or a job

I don't know if I'd attempt to live a normal life. Without having anything to leave behind, I could just be a man on the road. Just travel around the country, doing whatever. Getting a job wouldn't be that hard. I'm sure I could pick up a job doing farming or construction or something. I could be like that guy that just lived on the Mississippi. He had a canoe or something and just traveled.

I actually know someone who stole a car so he could get into jail, have a bed and three meals a day.

I honestly wouldn't know what do if I was homeless. I would probably do something along the lines of what Arlubas said. Beg until I got around $300 and clean myself up and get new clothing.Then go to a fast food outlet and get a job there until I had a decent amount of money saved up to rent a house and all that. Then after six months or so I would just apply to work in a warehouse or something a get around $800 - $1000 a week or a decent amount of money that you can live off and take it from there.

Geez, don't know why people are choosing jail. I was asking if you'd reckon there was a way to recover and lead a 'normal' life. Living in jail ain't normal.

I would first try and make something out of my life, probably by doing some volunteer work somewhere (Have a shower and a shave first :lol:) and then if someone gets me a job from there, I would start. I would try and live with a person with whom I work for, and get some money that way.

If that didn't work, I would go to jail.
