Hey guys,

I have a friend who lives in Houston, TX, who is coming to Australia in a couple of weeks. I have asked him to get me an authentic TMac jersey, but he is unsure of what the authentic jerseys are.

So if you guys could help me out with links to the 100% perfect copies of NBA players jerseys, that would be much appreciated. Or if no such thing exists for purchase, please send me the best links to replicas/tell me what stores to buy them from :).

nba.com store, they've got the real things.
watch out for it to be an adidas - but they shouldnt have the adidas logo sitting under the nba logo.

also, check in on ebay, sometimes some freaks sell real worn jerseys. (but look for proofs, most guys have it.)

Thanks dude. But when you say watch out for it to be an Adidas, do you mean that it must be an Adidas to be 100% authentic?

Do these also come with certificates of authenticity or anything (I spose they don't really need them)?

No, the $170 ones that say authentic on the NBA.com store are fake.

You need the replica ones because they are the exact same ones that the players wear.

...exactly, real authentics are made of the same material as the ones the players wear, if the original is this kind of dazzle material, like the heat jerseys 4 example, the authentic got 2 be too! And just like prodigy said... there is no brand logo on it, only the NBA logo, and the size and brand tag on the lower front (the part that normaly has 2 be inside the shorts at gametime). Watch out for the name too, there are swingman jerseys and replicas, and the real authentics. Replicas look different, they got a brand logo on the chest, and the numbers and names are only printed, that´s the real cheap version. Swingman jerseys are almost authentic, everything stitched on, but with the small but important difference of the stitched on brand logo (adidas). Real authentics are expensive, but an exact copy of the originals.

Thanks G-Code, that's a perfect description of everything. I just remember reading that the stuff on the NBA store wasn't 100% correct or something (don't ask me why), so I just wanted to make a thread to clarify it :).

Yeah, what the theProdigy said. It has to be made by Adidas but no logo. It should be the NBA logo ONLY on the top right hand side. Last I checked they run for about $100. Thats the price for any pro sports authentic jersey. And they aren't like those mesh(sp) jerseys like you generally see fans wearing. They are heavier too.

As far as I am aware. Replicas are the lowest quality ones, then swingman then authentic.
Authentics have the exact same material with only the NBA logo and the adidas info in the bottom right of the jersey. Swingmans have an adidas logo and have holes in them and replicas are all just the same material.

I own an authentic t-mac rockets jersey, and it cost 170dollars and is made of the dazzle fabric with everything It should have on it.
