Find the derivative. State the domain of the function and the domain of its derivative.

f(x) = x + √x

f(x) = (3 + x) / 1-3x

Find F'(a)

f(x) = (x^2 + 1) / (x - 2)

f(x) = √3x + 1

1. 1 + 1/2 root x

2. quotient rule: f'(x)g(x) - g'(x)f(x) all over [g(x)]^2

1(1-3x) - (-3)(3 + x) all over (1-3x)^2

= 10 / (1 - 3x) ^2

3. f(x) = (x^2 + 1) / (x - 2)

quotient rule again

ehhh sorry ill continue tomorrow night? sorry eek i just cant concentrate at all

PLEASE check my math

Stopped by for a second to help event_staff

#1. I think it's rather herbivores or detrtivores/decomposers. I'm going to have to say Ans: E
#2. Autotrophs are organisms that make their own food. They are plants or producers Ans: A
#3. Producers/autotrophs always start the food chain Ans: A
#4. The top carnivores end a food chain so D. Eagles
#5. I'm going to assume it's the plant Ans: A (although there isn't much sunlight underwater plus i'm not that sure about how sea weed works so it could be none of the above if they undergo chemicalsynthesis but it should be A)
#6. Ans: A I don't think plants breath

BballJ228
1) f(x) = x + (x)^(1/2)
f'(x) = 1 + (1/2)x^(-1/2) which is equal to 1 + 1/(2*sqrt(x))

2) f(x) = (3+x)/(1-3x)
f'(x) = [(1-3x)(1) - (3+x)(-3)]/(1-3x)^2 well go simplify that I'm a little too lazy

3) f(x) = (x^2 + 1)/(x - 2)
again same as before

the rule for quotient rule is

[low(derivative high) - high(derivative low)]/low^2
or
[low(dhigh) - high(dlow)] / low^2

so if you set the numerator equal to g(x) and the denominator equal to h(x)

you have

[h(x)(g'(x)) - g(x)(h'(x))] / (h(x))^2

4) Same as number one. It is easier to assume that sqrt(x) = x^(1/2) and do the chain rule. That's probably why you can't figure it out

f(x) = sqrt(3x) + 1 = (3x)^(1/2) + 1
f'(x) = 1/2(3x)^(-1/2)

see you later

This isn't really a homework question, but I'm going into my junior year and I wanted to ask what do you all think of this schedule? Too hard? Easy? OK?

1st Trimester:
1 - Concept Chemistry
2 - Computer Math
3 - Virtual Physics
4 - Honors English 11
5 - 20-21 Century

2nd Trimester:
1 - Concept Chemistry
2 - Prob & Stats
3 - Athletic Training
4 - 20-21 Century
5 - College History

3rd Trimester:
1 - Virtual Physics
2 - Prob & Stats
3 - Athletic Training
4 - Honors English 11
5 - College History

My freshman year I had a pretty hard schedule, but then my sophomore year and I had an outrageously easy schedule. The Physics kind of scare me. What do you all think?

Each trimester is 12 weeks, by the way.

Jayc15 you didn't even make an attempt at your thing. All you do is look up every word

1. R. Prey
2. D. Biomagnification
3. A. Abiotic
4. J. Density Independent factors?
5. B. Autotrophs
6. P. Population Density
7. O. Photosynthesis
8. L. Greenhouse Gases
9. M. Heterotrophs
10. S. (Cellular) Respiration or Glycosis

Well I haven't taken Biology yet, but I will next year. You lucked out that I learned this stuff a week ago

1st Trimester:
1 - Concept Chemistry For 90% of the people you are rather amazing at chemistry but suck at physics or are amazing at physics but suck at chemistry. I'm good at chemistry (not great) but amazing at physics (can think of formulas in my head. Don't have to pay attention in class). But if you're just learning the basic concepts it will be easy, just a little memorization
2 - Computer Math Sounds like an easy course. Probably just use a graphing calculator or something. Not sure
3 - Virtual Physics See chemistry thing. Not sure what the Virtual part is
4 - Honors English 11 Read books take good notes from the books. Stay away from sparknotes until after you've read the book
5 - 20-21 Century Read the textbook you'll do fine. I find it easier to read it the day before tests but the teachers do hate that. Also if you do DBQs you should be well versed on the stuff. So read the textbook take notes and then go over your notes before the test. Don't take down unimportant crap like what exactly happened in every battle

2nd Trimester:
1 - Concept Chemistry
2 - Prob & Stats Well it's an easy class in my school according to some. I'm taking statistics next year, the average is low but that's because of senioritis
3 - Athletic Training don't really need a description
4 - 20-21 Century
5 - College History same as other history

3rd Trimester:
1 - Virtual Physics
2 - Prob & Stats
3 - Athletic Training
4 - Honors English 11
5 - College History

bye
