this is for Trig , i got to take home my test to finish it , i need 2 more problems done
#9) Simplify:
(1-cosx)(cscx + cotx)
i need all the steps
i dont know if its right but i got up to sinx-cosx and dont kno what to do from there
and heres the other problem
solve the equation in the interval 0<x<2pi
14.) sinxcscx - cscx + 2 sin x = 0
remember this one is in radians.
i just need you to help me get it to like sinx = ____
or cos=___ or sin^2 =___ csc= whatever just up to there thanks just simplifiy it.

some SAT ish
6.) The egg in a certina basket are either white or brown. If the ratio of the number of white eggs to the number of brown eggs is 2/3, each of the following could be the number of the basket EXCEPT
A - 10
B - 12
C - 15
D - 30
E - 60
(answer is B, how do you get it?)
--
7.) If 18 x root(18) = r x root(t) , where r and t are positive integers, and r>t , which of the following could be the value of rt?
A - 18
B - 36
C- 108
D - 162
E - 324
(answer is C, how do you get it?)
and
12.) If x^2 - y^2 = 77 and x + y = 11, what is the value of x?
the answer is 9, ...so i did like x - y = root(77) means x - y = 9, if u do a system then x would = about 19 or so..so i dont get it

for 6. as you see the ratio between white and brown eggs is 2 for 3... so that means the probabilty on getting a white egg is 2/5... and brown is 3/5
the problem with answer b... is if there was 12 eggs on the basket... the number of white eggs or brown eggs would be (2/5 or 3/5 * 12 = 4.8 or 7.2) so as you see... it would be weird to have 4.8 white eggs on the basket... so thats why 12 isn't that good of a choice... for the others its perfect the answer always gives you integers.
for 7.
on one side
18 * root(18) = root( 18^2 * 18) = root ( 18^3)
on the other
r * root(t) = root(r^2 * t)
so we have... root( 18^3) = root (r^2 * t)...... so 18^3 = r^2 * t = r * ( r * t )
now for each possible answer of r*t ... you have to try if it respects the restrictions given... for example
if rt=18 ... 18^3 / (rt) = r
we have 18^2 = r
now we know that r = 18^2 ... and with our first restriction ( 18^3 = r^2 * t )
we have 18^3 = 18^4 * t
and theres a problem... because (t) can't be an integer... so it doesn't respect our restrictions...(r>t and r, t are integers)
you can try it for all of them... only for C it respects the restrictions
and finaly for 12
on one side, x^2 - y^2 = (x + y) ( x - y) = (x + y ) * 7 .... (knowing that x - y = 7 )
so we have 7(x+y) = 77 ... which means that x+y = 11
now we have two equations x + y = 11 and x - y = 7
and i'm sure you can take it from there

I need some help with a few linear equation problems:
I dont need all the answers........just how to do it(points and thanks up for grabs)
Give the slope and y-intercept of the following:
4x-y = 18
2x+3y = 8
3x = y-1
y = 3/4x-7
Write the equation of the line in slope intercept form:
m = -4 and b = 7
m = 1/2 and b = 3
m = 5 and b= 2/3
Find the equation of the line through the given points:
(2,4) (4,5)
(0,0) (2,3)
