Me and a friend went downtown last night and saw Cool nutz, The cool kids, and Del the Funky Homosapien (from hiroglyphics) in concert.

We got to Roseland Theatre about 7 30 because we had to park. We walked in and got our tickets for 20 bucks at the door. We got in (show started after 8) and it was basically empty. The first group came out (local group, been on tracks with KRS One) and there was probably 100 people there. Then Cool Nutz performed and people started to show up. By the time the cool kids got there it was packed. There dj came out and the beat for "Im Mikey" came on and the crowd started going crazy. They came on stage and had the croud hype from the first second. They lasted for about 45 minutes, and the crowd was loving it. They got over at 11 and me and friend decided to jet (it was a school night) but it was basically the best 20 bucks ive spent in awhile. I lost my concert virginity there too. We were basically standing at the very front to, so they were up close and personal.

I'm angry that I didn't went to "Akon featuring Snoop Dogg" concert...I thought oh yeah Akon will has his pop songs, maybe Snoop will have some of his new ones...At the end Akon didn't even arrive and Snoop had all his Doggystyle songs, his verses from all Dre songs...my friends say it was dooope...

haha yeah. Dude, have you ever been to a concert? Its a really awesome experience, but i guess it helps that they were all underground type dudes so it was really hype.

And yeah i thought everybody heard of them by now, but i guess not. They are like a little bit of new, with some old school beats, and they dress like there stuck in the 90s.

For example chuck was wearing a 89-90 sanfransico superbowl t shirt and some spizikes. While Mikey was wearing like a white nike jacket with a weird indian t shirt under and some shoes that looked like this (blue ones):

Lots of people. Plus this was his first one so he hadn't before this.
