Well everybody points are back, and I know there are more than a few of you who are very happy about that

sooooo I decided to host a weekly non-profit lottery!

since points just got put back, we'll put the price @ 50 points a "ticket". Along with your "ticket", you can choose a number 1-100. At the end of theround, I will randomly generate a number and the winner(s) (methods may vary, but the number chosen will always be random), the ones who picked the correct number, split 100% of the points donated!

Info:

1. Each "ticket" costs 50 points. You may buy a maximum of 5 "tickets"

2. With a purchase of a "ticket", you may pick a number 1-100. At the end of the week I will randomly generate a number via TI-83 or website and the winner(s) will split 100% of the pot.

2. To play, donate anywhere from 50-250 (for 1-5 tickets) points to event_staff_9. Via PM or donation reason, tell me what number(s) you want so I have a record. There will be a post designated for the week's players, so make sure you check the thread to make sure your transaction was complete.

3. I will record all the numbers people choose in the thread so there isn't any cheating of "but I picked this one!" going on. You cannot change your number (so if you see somebody else picked your number too you cant switch), but if I mis-record you, tell me and I will change it. If you don't tell me there's a mistake in the post, I will assume everything is correct, and after I draw, no changes can be made.

4. By non-profit lottery, I mean two things. 1) I will not take any of the pot money as interest or whatever for hosting it. 2) To help maintain the integrity of the game, I will not participate.

5. If nobody gets the right number, the entire pot will be the starting pot for the next round!

6. Once I post the numbers people chose, the ticket booth will be closed.

7. If you buy 6 tickets, you get 1 free! Only restriction is you can't save up your free tickets; you must use them in the round in which you bought your 6th ticket.

Note: The lottery will be done based on popularity; if only 5 people are participating I think we may have to stop

Round 2 11/3/2008 - 11/11/2008: Pot = 1000, Number = 9, Winner = None

yeah so basically a 1/100 chance which is much better than most lotteries :) maximum possible chance: 1/20 not bad odds, not bad at all

Well basically, as what ive understand, yes, in order to join, just like at the train station, you have to buy a "ticket" to enter in the game which is worth 50 pts, donate him then tell him the number you have chosen from 1-100 then once people have done so, he genreates a random number from 1-100, whoever picked that number will receive points, half of the donation you donated to even staff...

I might join, wanna see the progress first before doing so..

Yeah, that's a thing that's kinda negative to see but well we have active mods here to secure that he gives out, but I say you donate 50 to him and he gets half of it while the half goes to the winner, isnt that unfair enough lol?
