I've been doing the same thing, but luckly since some of my friends are over 21 if I get caught driving with them, I won't get in trouble as long as I have my permit on me because they've had their license for over 4-5 years.

Hahaha congrats dNyce, I remember when I went for my test, nervous as hell and I park the car at the end, instructor calmly says "well that's a pass".

My instructor didn't even tell me I passed. He just got out of the car and went to talk to the other instructor. I just stood there for a couple minutes, then he said "Oh sorry, you can leave..you passed."

Well I never did the driving school, I just "learned" with my parents. If I was to do the driving school it was required that I completed six hours of driving from an instructor from that driving school.. but my parents didn't want me spending the $200 to drive with the driving school when I could just drive with them for free.. so in the end I guess it saved me money, but I would've gotten my L when I wanted to, which was in April when I turned 17..
