Sup m2 members. Well elections just ended here in the states, and now that the hype is gone it's time to hold our own elections for the President and Vice President of m2 for the next year (that's right 2009-2010). Remember to vote wisely when the time comes.
***OFFICIAL RULES***
- You must submit your 4 required members names by next Sunday (November 23rd). Tthe names of your President, VP, the Campaign Manager and the Secretary of Treasury.
- To run in this election you must have a President and a Vice President, and the support of at least 2 members whose post count is 1000 or above (can be anyone in your cabinet). All 4 of these members must individually PM MixMakersElections to ensure that they actually want to be a part of your campaign.
- You are allowed 12 people in your cabinet, or a minimum of 4 (including the president and vice president).
- You must have a Secretary of Treasury (this person will be in charge of gathering points for your campaign).
- You must have a Campaign Manager (this person will be in charge making pictures, slogans, videos or anything else to help you win)
- The other 8 people are basically wild cards and you can name their positions whatever you want to.
- No forum rules will be changed for this election (ie. no spamming, or flaming). However with that being said you are allowed to wear signatures, or avatars representing your party/candidates. You can work a way into advertising your party/candidates into the conversation of the thread (ie. "Wow that LBJ dunk was almost as phenomenal as the ____________ party).
- Running a smear campaign is totally allowed so long as you don't break any forum rules. That means no flaming.
What you get:
You may be wondering what you get out of this? Well aside from being the only democratically elected person m2 to do anything there are also a bunch of different sweet prizes that everyone in your cabinet will get.
The President and Vice President will both get a User Title picture under their names stating their new rank among the boards.
Everyone in the cabinet will receive any of following:
Larger avatars (actual sized decided by LK)
Big bank (Actual point value undecided at the time)
Calendar of events:
Sunday, November 23rd - Everyone who plans on running must post in this thread.
Saturday, November 29th - Debate questions will be PMed to President and Vice President.
Sunday, November 30th - Debate answers will be posted.
Monday, December 1st through Sunday, December 23rd - voting will commence.
Someday between Christmas and and December 31st - The MixMakers President will be announced.
January 1st - December 31st the President and VP will remain in office.
