1) Switch to a different web browser, see if that works.
I'm suggesting this because you say your torrent app works. Try getting JDownloader and see if rapidshare works fine on that.

2) Try hooking a laptop straight into the modem and not the router.

3) I've seen it many times. It's probably because it's infected.
Run Malware Bytes. I find that this is the best at detecting + deleting stuff.

For WMM how can you download the codec for AVI....avi wont import for some reason..always says the codec is not supported.....

Hey I was just curious how do you get all these games in high def on the computer? I can record them on my dvr in high def but from there how do you get them on the computer? I tried to record on a disc and then put it on the computer but although it is clear it isnt near as clear as some of these on here saying high def. Just curious maybe I'll invest in something if it isnt to big.

I had an old program i uninstalled it but **** shows up bottom right my screen still....little icons saying ffdshow audio and video decoder.....why wont they go away?

Thats a codec I believe... SO you gotta remove the codec too not just the program (bsplayer? realplayer?)

LAST issue INCLUDING what I just quoted is my drivers.....it says they are all updated but my tv tuner wont work now because it says the installed drivers is the problem....the drivers that are on my menu to install wont actually install....1 says fail at the end not compatible or something like that, and the other says Severe: Zero service error, why cant all the drivers be installed correctly? (program is Driver Genius Professor Version 9) TV Tuner is Win TV HVR-1600. Drivers im trying install is VIA IDE Falcon storage drivers.....and VIA Hyperion Pro Drivers, and pretty sure the ATI display drivers are an issue. (my computer is Windows xp as well).

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Dan\My Documents\bullstop_10.avi cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.


for weeks i been importing fine....i still use the K Lite Codec which enabled me to import avi and stuff....whats the issue now?
