Xbox 360 help - 12-03-2006, 06:02 AM

i'm trying to steam music frommy comp to my 360 and i can't find out how to
the zune program doesn't work because i can't even install it, is there another way to do it
or do i need to setup a wireless network first which means i would need a wireless adapter

Well first you gotta have Windows XP, can't have something older.

Connect to your pc through ethernet, I use a router to have my 360, modem, and pc all connected.

go to http://xbox.com/pcsetup and download Windows Media Connect

Share which folders you wanna share


EDIT: Oh damn I checked it out, you need Zune program now? Damn try to follow the directions, I'll upload the Windows Media Connect I use and you tell me if it works.

Try that and tell me if it still works or if they disabled it. I've been using it and it works

Same here it works perfectly . Except the videos they didn't stream videos to my Xbox...

ya, for some reason my comp isnt recognizing my 360. its connected to my router which is connected ot my comp. which is a XP. i just downloaded zune and it keeps telling me either i havent turned on media share or my firewall settings.. but when i looked it doesnt even see a 360. WTF?

Well I don't use the Zune program, try out the one I uploaded:
