Help me outt, plzzzz....Its gonna soon be boxing day In Canada, and I really cant decide!!!! Do I go for the $279 Nintendo Wii, or the $499 XBOX 360??? Plz, cud the owners of one of these systems tell me which one iz worth it?!???

I like the xbox 360 better the graphics are way better. The games are better. But the wii is better for games like tennis, golf. i dont think they have bball games in the wii.

^^dude wii has nba 07 .... the graphics arent that bad on the wii, i mean wii sports the graphics are intentionally bad but the xbox has had a year to mature.... wait in a year and see how sick the wii is going to be

i have played both of them and currently own a wii .... so i guess that shows my view on the matter... but it depends on what you enjoy. *waits for crippa to say "xbox 360 is the best" * haha jokes i love that guy

it depends what type of system you prefer. A 360 is more for graphics and gameplay while the wii is more of a system that gives you more virtual control over the game, but its graphics arent that great. It all depends on what you want.

Im really confused lol, cuz if i get a Wii, ill styll hav nuff money to spend on games and stuff, but if i get a 360, i wudnt wanna spend a lot on games and stuff, but i do hav an HD TV!!So, i donno, but im goin more towrds de Wii rite now....

360's are 499 in canada? thats ***. but im a 360 owner myself and i would defitnaly recommend the 360 over the wii. the 360 has way better games, and its kinda stupid too get the wii just for nba live 07 cause its so glitchy. and think about it the 360 has HALO 3, GTA 4, Gears of war, wii has none of that...

Obviously 360 is better than graphics while Wii has graphics similar to PS2 and Gamecube. If you owned a lot of nintendo stuff before and really like nintendo games as opposed to anything else I would go with a Wii. That way you can actually get those games and go back to playing them all over again. If you also like the idea of a motion sensored controller where you have to move in place and whatnot to perform the actions in the game, go with a Wii. Apparently it is revolutionary as far as control goes in the game. And the console's cheaper as well as hardware and games.

However, if you want your next-gen console to have next-gen graphics, go 360. If the controller isn't a big deal to you, go 360. 360 has one of the best online communities as well, not to mention it's compatible with Windows XP so you can hook your 360 up online and then access files from your computer. Plus, you can hook up your PSP to your 360 and see pictures and listen to music. You can also download game demos for free on XBox Live so you can get a preview of a game if you're not really sure if you want to get it or not. Some are even online demos that you can play against other people. Right now 360 has better games of course because Wii just launched.

Now you could always go with one and get the other later. If you have enough money right now, you might wanna go 360 because a Wii won't be that hard to obtain plus you'll give it time to get more games and maybe even find a game that you're going nuts for.

Also keep in mind what NBA Live 07 will be like too. It'll probably look like it's current-gen self, not the XBox 360/PS3 version of it but you'll probably be able to pull of crossovers and shoot with the motion sensored controller. But the thing is that Live has really fallen off. According to Gamerankings, who average together tons of review scores from different sites, it's best title was on the Xbox, at a sad 69%. PS2 was next at 62%. But the thing is that those games were full of bugs and EA will probably get them fixed. Well, actually I can't say that either. EA just tends to let bugs sit there. But then again if you get a 360, by March you might have enough to get a Wii or vice-versa.

Are you getting anything for Christmas?

actually u can hook up about any camera or mp3 player to teh 360 if its usb commpatible. i plug in my ipod all teh time and listen to music while im chainsawing a guy in gears of war...
