What are you guys wantin in NBA 2K8 when it comes out?

well 4 me theres a good bit of things i would like 2 see,

1. ALL STAR WEEKEND, which from wat i hear cant happen becuz of copyright reasons, BUT if that is the case, i say 2K jst improves everything else and mayb will end up buyin out LIVE and then takin the All Star Weekend

2.Ejections,Techs,Fights,Aggresive,Emotional games-i RELE want 2 see this 1 in a game, players get mad off a call, and they argue and get the tech, or they get ejected, also players gettin up in each others faces, and players havin 2 hold bak other players after a hard foul or sumthin, also if players r playin hard defense the OFFENSIVE player may get angry and argue with the player or he may mouth off 2 the player as he walks by him or say sumthin 2 the ref

3.Better Facial Expressions,Celebrations, and Emotions- Again getting mad @ a call, or bein happy with a foul called with 7 seconds left or sumthin that is helpful 2 the team, as well as when they make a shot or a monster dunk, if they're runnin down the court they may throw their arms up or hold up a "3" with their fingers, or show them screamin, or punchin the the goal post after a tough layup

4.DUNKS,DUNKS, AND MORE DUNKS-This year they did A LOT better with the dunks, but they STILL need 2 work on this more, especially going THROUGH a player when dunking, also they need 2 work on more dunks for certain players, a 360 that Nate Robinson does, shouldnt look the same as when VC does it in a game, they rele need 2 work more on this




I could go on and on but im sure most of u wont read all of this neway, but neway wat r some ideas or things u guys wanna see, plz post as many as u want, i love readin this stuff, and others may also, so plz post as much as u want

-I wanna see less stupid shit, like better pass recognition...
-Facial expressions yea, and emotions overall. Like sometimes I'll make a gamewinner and the commentator says "And the Lakers win" with no feeling and the players just walk off the court, they don't jump on the guy who made the shot or anything.
-Expanded move sets. Signature jumpers are awesome, but how bout letting me choose who they shoot like, and who they shoot FTs like, who they layup like, dunk like, taunt like, run like even?!?!?
-Let you create more teams
-Let you transfer legends to other teams. Live had the Legends pool to add legends to teams, but in 2K you can't. I love making legend rosters in every game.
-Let 10 people play online. Instead of me being one team and you being one team, 10 people can play and each be locked in a position. Now THAT would be tight.
-Let you use your own rosters online if you and a friend agree to it.
-Prevent Thabo Sefalosha from killing you

As for your second point, it will never be added to an NBA game because the NBA won't allow it. They want to be seen as family entertainment and ejections and whatnot would display a bad image for them.

I agree with your other three points though. 2K needs to add the all star weekend to shut down NBA Live for sure. I watched an interview when 2K7 first launched and the producer said that they tried to add ASW, but didn't get it good enough to add in the game and plan on attempting it for 2K8.

I want 2K to demolish their graphics. I don't think they are good enough for a 3rd attempt at Next Gen gaming. They have awesome animations, but the graphics just aren't there to back it up.

Also, next year I'd like to see players with their own dunk packages. This was supposed to be one of the things in 2K7, but I swear there is no signature dunks anywhere, except street mode. So I think they will come back with players playing more like themselves than ever. I also want them to do a better job of finding players' real shots. Some of them in 2K7 are just rediculous *cough Chris Bosh cough*.

I'd like to see a greater variation of animations. I don't want to have played for less than a month and see every single animation possible.

Overall, I'd like to see the developers take a page out of MLB 2k7's book by taking their previous game and just perfecting what they already have. I think 2k's simulation of NBA has all the right ideas, but they just aren't tied together tight enough to be considered "amazing". So, re-do the player graphics, add animations, give more signature moves, and maybe add one mode like ASW, but don't go crazy. This should be the "clean up" year and then move on from there.

In nba 2k8 they should have like some kinda techical foul meter because basketball is about about the love of the game. they should have like when the ref calls a bad call you should be able to talk to the ref like in real life and players like rasheed wallace should have to b able to get a tech easy because he's rasheed wallace and kobe bryant should be able to get his way with the refs so he should have a high meter. that would set 2k8 apart from "NBA LIVE" because thats the realist thing you can do is add emotion to the game! that would be sick to see sheed get threw out th game because he cant shut his mouth that would be pretty sweet.and nba 2k8 should get more involved with the little things in the game like i want to see when i get a career high in points blocks etc when im playing with kobe or ben.also 2k8 should improve the DEFENSE ONLINE AND OFFLINE because in real life kobe dont just come down and dunk his way to 50 points he do it all but it so easy to score 50 points with kobe because theres really any defense on the game so i hope the 2k people read this so 2k8 can be the best game 5 years and counting!!!!!

I would have to agree with most of the points you've said.. I would love for Live and 2K to come together and get All-Star weekend in 2K.. Hopefully they get more players in to do motion captures for their signature styles.. A lot of them in 2K7 were acted out by random athletes, not the actual players they were doing the animation for.

[EDIT] Oh and I just saw Imad's 10 player online point.. I've always thought that would be ****ing awesome, but you'd get a lot of ballhogs considering you'd be locked to one player.. Unless you were playing with 4 other people you knew real well, but a quick match for that mode wouldn't really work.

i really want them to change the NEXT mode up a bit because it's all the same thoughtout the whole game and u just have a tornment at the end
