Imagine if a movie were to be made of a video game, that stayed true to the game and was as good as it possibly could be... what game(s) would you choose to have turned into movies?
I'd love to see KOTOR, it was one of the greatest games I've ever played, it was great playing through it and stumbling upon every twist and surprise. Also The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Still my favorite Zelda, it would make a badass movie. Maybe Splinter Cell too. Yea that would be tight. Can't think of anymore I'd really want to see and that would be really badass. I know there's a few PS games, but I haven't played those games much, I expect you guys to bring up MGS and God of War and stuff. Maybe Shenmue for you DCers haha |

Cool thread, I definately agree on the KOTOR movies, It will never happen.. but damn it would be SICK... a new trilogy, headlined along with the latest KOTOR game.
Zelda could potentially be mad, Same with Shadow of the Colossus.. Either way videogame-movie adaptions always tend to change a sh!tload of what made the original game great. a game like zelda or kid icarus would definately make pretty cool movies. grand theft auto would be too similar to many other movies.
some other games that would make cool movies would be: warcraft KOTOR (definately would be worth making) DragonballZ (maybe a few more years till computer graphics get better) Castlevania (i heard rumours a while ago that they are making a movie but i havent checked lately)  Click HERE or on the pic to M2's Hip-Hop blog

Dont know why you guys are saying GTA, they pretty much base the games completely off movies anyway. Vice CIty was Scarface, Carlitos Way etc. whilst San Andreas was based on Boyz n the Hood and Menace II Society and what not.
