The "Rate My Team" Thread

This is a thread for 2K or Live.. Whatever.. But you just post your team (all of it or just the starters, whatever) and whoever wants to can rate it on a scale of 1 to 10.. So I'll start off with my Lakers..

I'm in about the middle of my second season of my Association.. I didn't do a fantasy draft, but I have changed up the Lakers a lot.. I'm playing on Superstar difficulty, 5 min quarters..

C - Joakim Noah - 79 ovr (got the 1st pick in the draft from the Raptors in a trade and got him)
PF - Hakim Warrick - 78 ovr (second leading scorer on my team with 11.2 ppg)
SF - Lamar Odom - 89 ovr
SG - Kobe Bryant - 99 ovr (lead the league in scoring last yr with 27.3 ppg, now has a lesser role with all the new, developing players and averages 18.1 ppg)
PG - TJ Ford - 86 ovr (got him in the trade for the 1st pick.. I gave up Vlad, Bynum, and the last pick of the first round for TJ and the 1st overall pick)

Bench:
C - Desagana Diop - 77 ovr (stole him from the Mavs for Aaron McKie, started last year)
SG - Mike Gansey - 76 ovr (backup PG, 90 3PT rating, 5.6 PPG, 47% 3PT%)
SF - Luke Walton - 75 ovr
PF - Jason Maxiell - 74 ovr
SF - Trevor Ariza - 74 ovr (traded Kwame for him to clear up cap space)
SG - Maurice Evans - 72 ovr
PG - Penny Hardaway - 71 ovr (signed him at the beginning of the season for the hell of it)

So, rate mine, post yours, and let everybody rate it! It can be a fantasy draft team or whatever.. Doesn't matter..

BTW, I've been trying to trade Odom 'cause he doesn't do much.. I put him on the trading block and I had some good offers and the two that stuck out were Tim Duncan and Andrei Kirilenko.. I don't know about Duncan because I just got Warrick and he's developing, but what about Andrei?

I dont accept unrealistic trades unless I can offer a ridiculous package that makes the other team better than they were before the trade. Trading Mckie for Diop is a shrewd move but if I wouldve done it, I woudlve atleast gave the mavs some picks because thats robbery.

Dont trade for Duncan, youd be a fool not to accept but sometimes realism is a good thing. I found myself getting bored of franchises where I took star players away from great teams.

Overall your teams decent but you should start Diop over Warrick or Noah for now unless your tryin to play small ball then you got the perfect team, if you trade Odom away try to get some shooters, Ariza should be a terrific defender if your patch is updated so he could start. If my computer like brain is correct you should have a team rating of 88

Yeah, it's around 88 all the time.. :lol: It's always anywhere from 88-90..

And I like Diop coming off the bench because when I start him he fatigues very easily.. He can't play offense either.. Noah is really good down low on offense and he blocks a good bit of shots, and he's 6'11, so he's pretty big.. I love Warrick's developing offensive game and he gets some steals too.. I just like the huge defensive presence of Diop coming off the bench 'cause I will agree he is much better on defense than Warrick or Noah, but he can't play offense at all.

Would you recommend trading Odom for Kirilenko? I didn't really like the Duncan trade either, but it was just strange that it was even a possibility.

I would rate your team like an 8.7/10.. I love Deron and Dorrell.. They're both a good fit for the Rockets in my mind.

I would rate your team like a 8/10..

And moankles, yours would be like a 7.7/10 to me.. Bench is kind of weak.
