haha, dude I don't hate this game. I just think its slipped up for a few yrs. I didn't watch the vid myself. It's still loading for me.

fanboyism is just stupid. It's even more dumb when you do it for a particular game.

I always thought Ea's crowd is more immersing than 2k's. They get you more into the game. The crowds awesome especially when they added those MVP chants in 06. I still think 2k is better. It's just a matter of preference.

I know what you mean I think 2k overall is a better game then live and has been for a few years. I think its funny going to the 2ksports boards and seeing stupid threads everyday about converting crap and the dumb stuff shadio post.

Yeah, I don't understand. It's like a religion over there. I keep asking why do they keep addressing Live "fanboys" on a 2k forum? I have yet to receive an answer:lol:

back to the live topic, I watched a video on GT. I noticed some major animations that need improving. Hopefully they've fixed it in the later build.

Ok, first off. I noticed Smush is WAY too close to Nash, but the bumping animation doesn't come for awhile. it's pretty late. That's supposed to be a blocking foul.

Also, When (I think) Amare comes to set the screen, It doesn't really set one. It's a moving screen so to speak. He runs up and doesn't even set one and run back.

I like how the people are rotating in live. Never saw that before. Did they always do that?

Live didn't come out for PS3, so I wouldn't have known. They didn't do that on ps2 though.

The rebounding animations not that good. No box out. It's a dog fight. Everyone was in the paint including the subpar rebounders. What happened if the ball went to the pocket three? who was going to shoot it? Nash legs are chicken legs:lol:

I hope they fixed that and more. I'm going to be playing LIVE 08. My bro's a fan of their dynasty mode. I think the dynasty is done very well.

I'm looking forward to this game! I don't know if 2k is batter but I know live 07 is pretty bad. EA has made a lot of mistakes in this game.
Sadly I can't try 2k as I play on PC but I would! But I hope EA is about to turn it's mistakes right and I hope my PC is strong enough to this game!

I would assume PC has nothing to worry about. If the game sucks, just throw in some user mods lol.

Yeh, I watched this vid when it first came out and Im almost convinced to buy Live this year (Im obviously getting 2k as well). I mean, I think their graphics are amazing and I love their gameplay visuals, but its always been impossible to play. At least this year, there is a playable camera angle with SMOOTH(er) animations and players aren't randomly exploding to the basket anymore.

My favourite part of the demo is when someone shot the ball and it rimmed out. The rim actually bent and it looked/sounded great. I know it is minor, but it appealed to me.

I like how they can steal balls in the passing lane. Forgive me, but I never played next gen live, so I don't know if this was included last yr or this yr. All I know it's in 08. The gameplay still doesn't seem smooth, but smoother than the previous Lives build I've seen.(I've seen that espn live show). So yeah. Glad they took 2k's standpoint and defaulted the camera to the sideview.

I don't like how the players catch the ball with no animation reaction. As if the ball magically appeared in their hands and they just shot it

Anyone got a fastbreak video? I would to see it. It looks like they can run on the fast break.

I'm kinda skeptical about this Hot Zone thing. It seems like a great idea. (if you play NBA BALLERS, you'll know what I'm talking about) but, I don't think they can hotzone over 400 current players plus the HOF'ers. I'm thinking their going to set a standard for the non superstars.

For the people, that never get off the bench, I'll doubt they will have a hotspot .

or maybe just a generalized one for them.
