How's the post in Nba LIVE?

Anyways, I wanted to play NBA live 06 on the ps2. Anyway when you're in the post, can you Activate the triple threat and score w/ the hook? I suck at the post in LIVE, then again, everyone does:lol: (weak post system) I'm just wondering because When I play, shaq never scores more than 10 pts:ROFL:

all i did was post up and use superstar moves...shaq is power so most all his superstr moves are gonnabe dunks...you could get in post position and just press shoot and it should be a hook...maybe press the hopstep button before u shoot...i forgot how to play

with yao in the post...or any low post superstar scorer...the hook is unstoppable..it NEVER misses...ever...i think its hold L1 (or whatever superstar thing is) and x

any superstar ability can dominate the game imo...as long as u use the right move with the right player...i remember i would do the floater superstar move (L1+triangle) with tmac and it would rarely go in..but with ai...its money in the bank

Ok fellas, in Live 07, how the hell do you use the 3-point shooting superstar thingy efficiently? I've tried everything (joystick, red button) and no matter what I do I miss? Am I doing something wrong, or does that superstar type just suck?

Oh also flo, in 07, you can use hook shots, drop step hooks and stuff like that, but it's still very weak. Usually, if you're in the post you just back them down, press left or right and your man will spin off then you just dunk as you are wide open. It's very easy.

I find it quite effective. I'll post a thread shortly from 2k's forum. it's not the best, but at least it has it.

I have 06. Is it me or are teardrops impossible to make? everytime I'm near the hoop I tear drop with tony parker, and it bricks. Man, I'm building sky scrapers!
