I need 360 help! (yes me)

It's unexpected that I, Imadogg, is asking for 360 help I know, but someone help me out.

Ok before my computer crashed near the end of the school year I was streaming perfectly from my computer to my 360. Music, pics, vids.
Windows XP Service Pack 2, have Zune program and WMP11.

Afterwards.... not so much. Had to install SP2 and I did. Installed the programs. Can't stream.

Everything is connected, but when checking connection the 360 stops at "PC Selected" saying I need to choose a PC with media sharing. Well on both WMP and Zune it says media sharing on to a 360.

Anyone have any idea what I could check? Do I have to let some program through a firewall? Anyone????


Oh yea my connection is my 360 ethernetted to a router, that connects to another router which my pc and modem also go directly into. It's been like that the whole time

does it say it's connected and doeson't work or does it say not working?
i had that problem before and wat i did was first try to basic stuff, like making a new connection and everything
then i re-formatted my computer

And I got it now that I got my new laptop, no help needed

I've spent my whole afternoon trying to figure out how to connect my 360 to my computer and I can't figure out what's wrong. My Windows Media player doesn't even show the "Xbox 360" icon in the media sharing window. Piss me off...
