GC '07: NBA 2K8 Updated Hands-On

Anyone else want that layup/dunk system in 2k6 to come back? Where pushing left would = a left hand layup and pushing right = a right hand layup.

Other than that everything's lookin pretty good.

The dunk mechanic should be altered for more control, but what you said was in the 2k7, indeed. it is just harder to pull off.

I used the dunk contest as a comparison.

I don't think so. I think the layups/dunks are just random. There's no specific thing you gotta do to perform a certain dunk.

What's fanboyish about that? What if I'm playing my bro and he sees me running my plays?:lol:

I like the hotzone if we can press a button to see it. I'll doubt it'll be 100% on everytime we make a shot.

I hope the four player is only for 360.

When are they going to take advantage of the PS3's seven control support? Drunken gathering at my place, me owning 6 of my mate's in a 3 point comp, dunk comp... and a 4 vs. 3 handicap 5 on 5 roflz

It still has 7 player support? I thought that was one of the early specs like a year before it was out then it was tossed...

And did M2's favorite PS3 fanboy get his own one yet?

All Bluetooth devices can connect to 7 devices. and there could be support for more in a firmware update.

Right now though, there's only support for 4 players at a time.
