I was thinking about buying an xbox 360... is it worth it do you reckon ?

You probably won't get another price drop anytime soon. Go for it now, PS2 is played out, it's reaching the end of its lifetime. As far as sports games, you're only going to get a roster update.

Yeah I'm thinking of getting my 360 soon. The latest game console I have is ps2 lol. Hopefully I can get it before 2k8 comes out.

get a 360 but get it with a special 2 year warranty like i did....i got it this year so im planning too wait till next year and return my 360..and get my $400 and buy a 360 again but for a cheaper price since the price will probably drop by next year..so it saves u money later on..but ps3 will probably become better than the 360 in the long run if they start producing better games...
