Who did Bio Shock suck off to get a 10?

A game where if you're on one side of a stream of water, it blue, the other it's red. Where one bad guy is repeated in a different way like 7 times over. Its like a fancier Prey, without multiplayer, and with a storyline more predictable than last years NBA Finals.

This game was a 7 at best.

I agree, I keep trying to play it but it's a chore to do so.

Playing Half Life Ep 2 recently, even with it's outdated engine convinced me that it wasn't just me but that the gameplay in Bioshock is terrible.

The only thing it has going for it is the atmosphere.

And it's a hell of a lot worse than System Shock 2.

It seems like the critics are so stuck up the creators ass that they don't seem to know or care about all the flaws with the game and just want to ramble on about it being "special" or "original" with some kind of elitist attitude about the game.

Same here dude, cept I played the bioshock demo and I was like "dang this game bioshock is annoying".

1. the game is just play weird, made no sense
2. I felt like the game had no point to play
3. It sucks.

The only good thing about it was the graphics.

Ep 2 was just plain awesome even with it's outdated engine like you said.

My friend bought the orange box, now I just have to convince him to let me play it for a bit. I loved HL2 on regular xbox. One of the best stories, and overall FPSs ever. Bioshocks main thing was the "plasmids"... but really they got boring real quick, and the only fun one was "telepathy" for obvious reasons.

On another note MASS EFFECT!!!!

Yeah dude Orange box is a major fun, you play the original Half Life? The games old but if you wanna understand what happens before Half Life 2 you'd probably should play iot.

It has very old graphics but still a very fun game.

I hated the demo. It felt like a bad haunted house. You just walk through and watch what happens through the windows.

guys with Orange Box, play Team Fortress 2, instant classic online game. so much fun, and its incredibly balanced. There is no dominant class. Every class has specific strengths and weaknesses, and if you dont stick to them, you lose... it is really really fun.

Similar to Shadow Run. That game was alright. Does this game have more game play types than capture the flag? If so it beats Shadow Run.

Yup, I said the same ish a while ago. Overrated like most games. I hope Mass Effect turns out to be as good as they say though.
