Xbox live problem

Well, i have this problem, i want to be able to play xbox live and be able to go on the internet at the same time, both things are in the same room.

what would i need to be able to do this and how much?

Hahahahahahahaha, sorry dude but that was a real noob question. You need a router...
I just got one myself. Dlink DI-524.
Does the job well... $90 or so bucks....

So you just have a modem atm right?

yep on the back it has a cable going to the phone, a cable into the power pack and a cord going into the back of the tower.

where would i get a router from (newb question), ebay?? and how cheap can they go?

sorry for being a newb, i such at this until i get the hang of it

Any electronics store.... Yeah they can go a bit cheaper.... just go to Dick Smith or an electronics store, explain what you want to do (tell them you have ADSL, because u have your phone link connected to the modem, it means you have ADSL, i think)and they'll help you out... That's what i did....

well i just tried it out, but, when i come back from europe im gettin a year because its so fun, its just a pain removing the modem and plugging it back into the 360
