Im debating please help me

im wondering if i should get a 360 or not because i have a sdtv and i heard that if you really want to get a 360 you should wait till u get a hdtv to fufill your gaming dreams. how many you guyz got hd or sd? any comments on what it looks like?

i do not have HDTV, the graphics look fine dude, i mean, HDTV would be sweet but i dont think it is essential.

Depends on how good the quality is on your SD. I have a 26'' LCD HD for my 360 and it's alot better than all the other TVs in my house when I play.

SD = Standard Definition = normal tv
It's 480i for NTSC and 576i for PAL televisions if I can remember it right.

Anyway I got a normal tv but no next-gen console.

I have a ps3 and I have a SDTV and HDTV. I compared both and there is NO WAY I can play back on the SDTV. You really need an HDTV for nexgen. As long as you have the cables...but I think the 360 comes with the HD ones.

its better than playing on an HDTV (big) without the component cables and stuff for sure

I wouldn't bother going next-generation unless you've got a HDTV. It's just not worth it IMO.

SDTV is alot more cheaper it depends on how much money you have
I can notice the graphics heaps better on 360 then Xbox anyways and my graphics still look great
And I think the cables he means was the HD ones the 360 comes with.
