Assassins Creed - worth buying? - 01-12-2008, 11:29 PM

just wondering... how long does the story take to finish?

because i hear that once its over, the game has little to no replay value. im looking for a game to eat up some time, with a pretty long campaign mode, cos im bored of 2k8 and Guitar hero. so if there are any better than assassins creed, hit me up. other possibilities... halo 3? Mass Effect?

Assassin's Creed is very short I heard. Halo 3's campaign is pretty short but multiplayer will last. Mass Effect is pretty long, worth time and money

Im not a big halo fan really, and i dont play online much... if Halo 3 had like skirmish mode or bots to play offline multiplayer with, id definately get it. im ****ign surprised they still doing have that. unless im mistaken, and Halo 3 does have Bots so you can have big offline multiplayer games???

but that sucks about assassins creed being short, ive got like a month left before i start moving back to college, and i dont plan on working anymore, so yeh lol

are u kidding me assassians creed might just be the best game since goldeneye for N64..this thing is the greatest...short? i dont think so, if u skip through everything and go for the story then it may seem like ur average timed game but seriously this is one of the greatest games and u have to try to figure things out between real and pre world times. like when they make assasians creed V.2 u'll be pissed u didnt get this. great game i give it a 10/10 very addicting and fun. supposed to have a movie on it and they say things in the game are fiction and w/e but its very accurate if u kno ur s*@#....im tellin u...great game

Seriously I've been wanting bots since Halo 1... how hard is it to put bots in wtf????

And I'm not saying Assassin's Creed is bad, I've been wanting to get it for forever... it got some great reviews and some crap reviews, but everyone said it's short

Absolutely.
If they would have done for Halo 3, i would have bought a 360...

Even crappy games like 007 Nightfire had simple bots, i wonder why they don't put in bots. I don't think it would be to difficult or too extensive.
*Sigh*

I agree with everything the 2 guys above me said^

Good graphics, but the repetative actions start to get really boring after a while. I can'teven bring myself to play it anymore and I haven't even gotten close to completing it.

I'd get CoD4. I've spent like 4 days worth of time on it since I got it before christmas  It's literally the only game I play.
