Question for PS3 owners - 01-15-2008, 11:19 AM

im probably getting my PS3 this sunday, I've heard that the Ps3 is a major Dust magnet and what was wondering what the best thing i could to protect it against that.

(Im talking about internally of course)

PS3 isn't a dust magnet, it's just that dust/fingerprints show up easily on it.

Just use a dry cloth and it will be fine.

Not really, their isn't a lot of dust on mine. But like, Stevie Nash said, fingerprints does show up easily on it.

I read somewhere, people were having problems with sony because they void warrenties because of dust problems, and sony knew that was a problem, maybe it's and outdated article idk.

Its not true i dont got any dust on mine, but if you do want to protect against it you could probably just cover it with something before you go to bed or something.

just dust it man, i keep that white styrofoam sleeve on top of mine that comes with the system whenever im not using it, plain and simple just dust it off.
