PS3 Problem

Ok so my PS3 shows a startup error when I try to play all of my games. I e-mailed Sony the problem and they told me to restore the PS3 system and reformat it, so I did that, but nothing happened.

Does anyone know what you need in order to send the PS3 to Sony, because I still have my 1 year warranty, I bought it last November.

You're supposed to call them and they tell you what to do to send it in. What you do to send it in can differ with regions.

Did you tell them that reformatting it didn't work?

Yeah, I just e-mailed them again yesterday that it didn't work. I'm still waiting for the e-mail.

Wait for them to e-mail you back. If they don't I can call my friend who works with Sony in that department (lucky bastard). To make sure they got the e-mail and all.

Yeah u will prob get a 'refurrbished' model....

Its BS, it happened to my friend and he has go 3 different refurbished ps3's since... try and get a new one
