I put on nba 2k8 to play and xbox live said there was updates for the game so i selected yes, then it loaded them and kinda stopped quarter of the way through, and stayed there for ages. So i pressed B repeatedly to cancel it but nothing happen, then i did the stupid thing and turned the console off.
Then I got the 3 red lights of death, so i disconnected the hardware and tried again, this time no lights just the normal one green one, so i put everything back on and it locked a few times on the xbox starting logo and then once it went into 2k8 but then froze again.
SO...
do I
A - get microsoft to repair it at a cost of £65
B - get rid of the xbox and buy a new one at a cost of around £139
C - Get rid of the xbox and get a ps3 at a cost of £300
D - get rid of the xbox and just have nothing
Well I typed in the serial no on the microsoft help thingy, and apparently i dont have a warranty on it, because i guess its probably more than 3 years since i bought it.
No, everyone has a warranty. Even if you bought your xbox at launch day, you still have a warranty until november. I think that help thing is telling you that you do not have a extended warranty for other stuff, and it doesnt see everony has a 3 year. So call microsoft.
ok. Well i think i'll have to give them a call tomorrow then. So what actually happens do they come and pick it up or you have to send it to them or something?
