i like the games coming out on ps3 + blu ray which is why i got a ps3. + ive had every playstation, wanted to keep it that way.

bottom line is, 360 poeple will tell you to get a 360, ps3 people will tell you to get a ps3, ultimately its your call.

Why do people make these threads.

Unless you plan on listing every type of game you like and exactly what your interests are as well as your lifestyle, it's going to be really hard to accurately judge what you should get.

I got a 360 because I'm poor, it had better games, and because PS3 didn't even exist.

Dead Rising was what made me have to have a 360.

well if u have alot of frens who have 360...get it....cuz its online play is sick....if u aint into shooting games....i recommend a ps3.....if u a tech junkie....i recommend ps3

I also don't get the "hidden fees". If you want an arcade game, you gotta pay, it's not like they are tricking you and racking up your CC bill.

PS3 40GB = $399.99
XBOX 360 20GB = $299.99 (Wi-Fi adapter $89.99 + XBL $7.99/month)

As an owner of both consoles I prefer the PS3 over the 360 for many different reasons. If you just play sports game I would say get the 360, or like T-Mac_Attack mentioned you have an old school 4:3 TV and have no plans on upgrading to a HDTV.

It gets harder to choose if you have a better screen to play on. The xbox had much better graphics than the ps2 but the ps3 is on par with the 360 in that department. My experience is that the 360 has better lighting while ps3 has sharper textures which is why I'll take the ps3 in graphics but since I'm playing on a crappy 20 inch standard tv graphics aren't a big deal.

Edit: lol, my monitor is larger than my TV.

Well, I said in the first post that I am noit much into those ego-shooters, I prefer sporst games and Racing ****. Thanks for all you replies, I'll take a look at both today in a store and will tell you what I took.
