As an owner of both consoles I prefer the PS3 over the 360 for many different reasons. If you just play sports game I would say get the 360, or like T-Mac_Attack mentioned you have an old school 4:3 TV and have no plans on upgrading to a HDTV.

My xbox live is 3.84 a month . And that's with no discounts. Don't try to spice it up. Anyone who plays Xbox Live gets the bakers dozen worth of months for $50.

Only reason to get a PS3 is if you either have big need for Blu Ray (in which case you would need to buy a HDMI cord because PS3 isn't bundled with one) or you like MGS enough to the point where you would pay an extra 100-200 for it.

true that. i played the demo of NCAA 09 on 576p and i was like wtf why is this ****. i thought ps3 was meant to be good (mgs4 looked fine btw) then i changed my settings to 720p and it looked sex.

that would explain why it looked pretty shiitty at my friends place because he had a crap tv. i always thought ps3 would be good graphics anyway but now i know......ps3 + HDtv =bomb diggity

I've got both consoles and from problems with the 360 I'm going to have to say the PS3, in my opinion, is better. The online play for the 360 is much better than the PS3, but other than that PS3 takes the crown.

Like what aspects? Graphics are identical from everything I've seen. Loading time is faster even with installs. And there are far more games on the 360.

Are you a big Blu Ray fan?

I think I'm kind of bias because I leave my 360 on all day pretty much and it's never had any problems and it's fast as hell (GTA initial loading screen takes 3-4 pictures, while my cousins PS3 took about 7-8).

Just the whole feel of it to be honest. I know it's not much of a difference but I guess my opinion is somewhat bias considering I had major problems with my 360. To tell you the truth I don't give a sh*t about blu-ray until I actually get to use it haha.

Yeah, GTA loading screen for PS3 took a sh*tload of time too. I could literally get up, make some lunch, go to the toilet, come back and start playing.

Yeah far out I just remembered that, pissed me off enourmously. I get home from buying GTA, getting pumped to play it, and then I get this sh*t "installation" time...took about 15 minutes, by the end of it I nearly couldn't be bothered with it haha.
