Its december 11th here so happy bday for tomorrow mate.

Ummm, Someone wanna explain this a tad? I'm seriously considering a PS3.. i donno how i'd get the money but i played ps3 and its a lot of fun..

Here's the jist of things:

The Xbox360 has an online lobby and central point of access for friends, games, messages, etc.

PlayStation HOME is the PS3's equivalent, except it's a 3D virtual world in which you own your own space (a home). You buy your own things to deck your pad out... For example, you can buy a Sony Bravia TV for your home, in which you can upload clips to for others to view. Your home is also the place where you store your PlayStation trophies from achievements in games, etc.

The world is full of shops, arcades, malls, etc - all of which is interactive. You can head into the mall, and watch a movie in the cinema (pay $5 to watch a movie or whatever), head in and play in a 3 point shoot out with your friends, or whatever other things that companies may wish to add to the world.

Basically this is the most innovative addition that a console has seen, limitless potential - and if it catches on (which it eventually will), it'll be awesome.
