Not bad. There is a huge free roam element and the Guerrilla in the title is definitely a big part of the game. It's all about hit and run tactics.

There are like different sectors controlled by Mars' cops. You have to free each sector. You do this by destroying main buildings they use, taking over their convoys, doing raids, defending settlements, rescuing Red Faction fighters from their bases. As you start to lower their control you also lower their propaganda and eventually the morale shifts in your favor. Eventually people in the land will start to fight with you the more you take over places.

And that seems to be it so far. There are only like 3 main missions per sector. The rest is up to you to take down the Mars' popo however you see fit. I personally like destroying all their buildings.

All I've heard from this is not bad
Mind telling us if it was worth it
I used to love running around blowing holes in walls on the PS2 Red Faction so I was stoked when I saw this but then every said its not bad so is it worth saving my money?

I don't play anything online unless my friends are inviting me to games.

Like I said it's pretty fun. Now I'm 3/6 cities through. The new gun I got is pretty tight and I'm liking it a lot more now. I bought it used from gamestop/EB games like I do with basically everything so I can bring it back in a week.

2 things I wish it had. More missions and more cut scenes. Like I said only like 3 real missions per city. And no organization. What I mean by this is when I go to destroy a building some times it will be swarming with the Mars' cops. So I just wish that like in Godfather II I could you could send some people to do like a preemptive strike on it. At least distract the guards a little so you could destroy the building and not have to fend off 30 people too.

Have this game on rent right now. Haven't gotten far into the single player but so far I just love the destruction in this one, very addicting. It makes it unique from most action games..Also all the different types of weapons and vehicles is very cool.

I definitely recommend it for at least a rental to gamers
