Broken 360 help!

Okay my stupid 13 year old twat brother broke my 360.


This is what happens when I turn it on, it goes through the whole process. Then your avatar comes up tells you what games you played shite like that when you click play so the cd can be read. It load up and it stops at this stop and makes this loud noises.

Can someone tell me if this is fixable as in I can could do it to save money. Or do I have to call Xbox and speak with them about it?

Do you have any games download from XBL?

If so do they work?

More to the point, do any other discs work. DVD's?

From what you described it sounds as though the DVD Drive is playing up.

Not a big deal (if it is the issue at hand), you can probably pay Microsoft to replace it, or it may be replaced if the console is still under warranty, or you could find a Repairer or something in your local area. Most towns have someone capable. If you have any idea with computers you could replace it, but at the cost of voiding any remaining warranty.

Lol I swear to god my friend JUST HAD THIS FIXED! He said he kept opening and closing his disc tray with the controller. Try it.

He told me he picked up the 360 trying to move it while it was still playing he just paused the GTA IV game. I got super pissed mate, I wanted to break his face. So I calm down for about 30 minutes it took me, then it hit me try to play a different game, so I put in FIFA 09 (knock on wood) it's working great, no making loud noise at all it's running normal.

I will try to put in GTA IV again see what's up....

Yeah, I figured that out 2 days ago. Still a shame to, such a good game.

They actually did that? Anyways my 360 is fine, just my GTA IV is gone mate, has 2 deep circles around it on his back, I'm upset about that. Do you know if EB games or whatever you call it would do that exchange my broken one for a working one?
