The last sports game I thoroughly enjoyed was for ps2. Even though 360 is far better they can't get a sports game to get close to matching the system's potential. They might as well be ps2 games with fancy graphics. ****ing horrible.

I'm pretty damn disappointed aswell, and the only sports games I ever buy are NBA2K and Madden releases, so I've been suffering with Madden since 2005 . I was an NBA Live fan until 2007 when I switched to 2K Sports because Live was absolutely pathetic in 2006, and we all know the deal with EA & NFL Games, no other company releases them so I'm stuck with Madden year in, year out.

I still definitely enjoy playing Madden but EA is just so slack and are catering to the casual gamers by adding new cheesy features each year. Hell, only today has Madden released another crappy feature - Madden Ultimate Team , a mode where you collect cards of players and build your team through gaining "coins". Aside from that, they tell us that the next patch for the game will be released in the next two weeks. They shouldn't of even released the damn game if they are going to make patches for it 9 weeks into the regular season. I still haven't began my offline franchise because I'm waiting on the damn patch (That will be fixing offline franchise bugs, so you can see why I've been waiting).

It's just a mixture of them being slack & having nobody to compete with, especially Madden. NBA on the other hand didn't really have much competition until NBA2K7, and you can tell EA have tried to make Live the better basketball game in recent years. Just pathetic, they should realise the direction Madden is heading in before another company decides to run all over them like 2K did with Live.

So untrue, aside from 2K4 and 5, and even in both those cases the difference in level really wasn't big, the 2K series has DOMINATED Live throughout this decade. 2K1, 2K3 and 2K8 alone are enough to take on the whole Live series...

I always loved the early live series...from live 01 on ps1, and live 03, 04, and when '05 came out with the SDC...i went nuts!!! Craziest shiit ever. I honestly didn't start playing 2k until 2k8 came out.

I could steal it..SOMETIMES. And yeah blocking was easy, they change animation in mid air and BOOM lol.

But you're wrong for saying I'm wrong. Because my opinion can't be wrong since it's my opinion
