oh yeah since ps2 had an early release, the rosters arent really updated(i hate doing updates myself, gotta trade here and there, waive people off, sign people..AHHHH!!)

hahaha yea same here man i do that every year wit both games and its a pain...cuz u update them, THEN b4 u no it theres an EIGHT person trade an u gotta update them,then ur in the middle of a season and then a BIG trade happens, its jst crazy!!!

T-Mac a 93? I guess his defense is still a bit low. But I can guarantee his offensive game is one of the best.

Something caught my eye though.

D.Howard: 84

How is that possible? Emeka had a better season than Dwight. Those extra 6 pts must be from athelticism because Emeka is better both offensively and defensively.

You guys shouldnt look at the overall ratings as who is better than who. They are just calculations of each attribute into an overall rating, which as you all know, are often totally inaccurate. A player who is good but more one-dimensional, like say Ray Allen, would be much lower than a player a bit less talented but more diverse like Shawn Marion. So pretty much, these ratings are kind of like fantasy ratings, since it just depends on stats and whether players are total packages or not. Shaq has been the most dominant player in the NBA for years, yet I dont believe hes ever been the highest rated player in one of these games.

Why is LBJ a 95 and TMac a 93? LBJ averages higher percentages and better stats, despite the (although arguable) sentiment that TMac is better than LBJ. Duncan is better than KG, but KG is rated higher. Dirk is better than Sheed, but Sheed is rated higher. Brand is obviously better than RJ, but RJ is rated higher. Etc, etc.

What Im more disappointed at is the lack of correct roster updates. JJ is still in Phoenix, SAR is in NJ, and Finley in Dallas.

I am sure that at first month www.nbalive.org makes roster updates with realistics overolls and sliders. So there are no problems with that.

yea a few ratings relay pissed me off. horry is a 73 which is cool , but so is grant hill. grant hill is way better than horry man he gets 20 a game. horry maybe 10 at the most. grant hill should at least be 80 cuz hes is better than both finley and stack house. which are rated in high 70's. and andre ingodalla 83 that is so ridulas. webber is beter and he is lower than that webber is 81. he shold be 84 or 85. ingo should be no more than like 78 at most. tmacs rating is crap. he should be a 95. he is just as good as kobe and lebron man just not on d.
