im very interested in buying PSP but i need to know some stuff first:
so if any1 can help out wit their own experience with their own PSP it will b very much appreciated wit points and karma!:

1- is it very picky on which video formats it can play?? lets say it only plays mpeg only and not asf or avi or mov etc.. ??

2- how long does the battery run depending on the use???

3- when u have plenty of mp3s in ur PSP can u put them in a mp3player liek winamp lets say and let it play constantly without stoppin after 1 song lets say or does it play randomly and repeatedly??

i think thats it- i hope u can help!

1. The only format a PSP recognizes for videos is MPEG4. You just need to find a converter for that. If you need help, PM me.

2. Well, the battery depends on your brightness really. There are 3 brightness levels on the PSP. If you have it on the brightest, it lasts for maybe 5 hours. If you have it on the 2 darker ones, the bttery lasts from 7-10 hours I think. Thats why when I listen to music, I put the brightness all the way down to save battery.

3. I dont know what you mean exactly here, but if you let a song play you can put in on repeat and you can also just let it run until it ends. Then it will go onto the next song. It just goes in order of how they are on your PSP. You can probably switch the order but I havent looked into that to much yet. There are a lot of options that you can set while listening to the music.

hope this helps!

PSP is the best! If u got older firmwire version of PSP, you can put some homebrew softwares and play games off the mem card. It load much faster than umd

1.) You can convert any format to play in PSP format ( .MP4)

2.) Damn near 9-10 hours...

3.) Yes you can

1. Yes it has a picky video format, it's a pain to convert long videos that are compatible with there are a couple of media players that will play other formats but they only work if you don't have the newest firmware.

2. Depents on the game, if you're playing a game off the disc drive that loads a lot of data and play with the brightest screen the battery life can be under 2 hours. If you're doing something like listen to music with the screen off (I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you don't have a true DAP) you should be able to get maybe 10 hours out of it.

3. Yes
