For all you people who want to bypass Rapidshare's 1hr + wait
Firefox users:
1) Go to the site:
http://www.samair.ru/proxy/
Click for image
The box in red is referred as the Proxy, whereas the green box is referred to as the Port. Two important terms that are not to be mixed around with each other. in essence proxies are a gateway that relays one internet session to another, thus allowing you to download from another location, and ultimately allowing you to bypass rapidshares one hour wait.
2) Click on tools on hit Options. This should lead you to a pop-up menu titled Options.
Click for image
3) Click on the General tab and hit the option Connection Settings
Click for image
4) A pop-up menu titled Connection settings should appear. Check the option Manual proxy configuration and also check the box Use this proxy server for all protocols.
Click for image
Where it says HTTP Proxy is where you input the Proxy and where it says Port is where you enter the port. For example, a fake proxy address, 123.456.78.9:8080, the red "numbers" are to be inputed into the field where it says HTTP Proxy, whereas the green numbers are to be inputted into the field titled Port.

5) Click OK and you're done!

4) A pop-up menu titled Local Are Network (LAN) Settings should pop-up, check the box titled Use a proxy server....or VPN connections).
Click for image
5) Where it says Address is where you input the Proxy and where it says Port is where you enter the port. For example, a fake proxy address, 123.456.78.9:8080, the red "numbers" are to inputed into the field where it says Address, whereas the green numbers are to be inputted into the field titled Port.

6) Click OK and your done!
Note: in essence, this should work but due to certain restrictions certain proxy addresses will not work, therefore using proxies are really a matter of chance, some will work, some won't. Remember, patience is the key!
To reverse the action for Firefox, Check on the button Direct Connection to Internet, in the pop-up menu Connection settings (see above steps). As for Internet Explorer, uncheck the box Use a proxy server....or VPN connections)(see above steps).
And that should be it, hope this help you guys, i did this myself and it works for me so it should work for y'all, so uh.. happy rapid-sharing!
Remember, a little karma goes a long way
