damn i just got 1GB memory for PSP to put videos and music on but when i did copy paste my vids and mp3s PSP does not play them it does not even recognize them but it says how much space is taken by the movies and mp3s i put!!

wat am i doin wrong- do i have to covert the vids to smth b4 puttin them??

I am pretty sure you have to convert it.. That's what my friend told me but i dunno...sorry

I think you should get a special converter
Here is one that its output migt work on psp, if you convert them to gp i think they will work

Thats what i thought they played. Try converting it to mp4 then putting it on your psp.

First before you put anything on the memory stick you should Format the Memory Disk. You can do this from inside the PSP, in system options i think.

To play mp3s simply copy them to the drive:/PSP/MUSIC folder that will have been created.
To play movies is a bit harder, but i use ImageConverter2.1 to convert and transfer my videos and movies. All you have to do is connect the PSP, open the program and convert the movies and it will put them in the right folder for you.

I am currently uploading ImageConverter2.1 for you on rapidshare, i will edit my post as soon as its done.

i had the same problem, so if i dl the file u uploaded it will help me convert my video clips so ill be able to put them on the psp??

i already know how 2 put the mp3z..im givin ya karma for the upload.

Search google on how to do it.. That's what I did.. You have to make a special folder outside of your photos and mp3s and stuff and the videos you put in that folder have to be .mp4..

Yes, him program will help you convert your video clips to the correct format for your PSP.
