.Abr files are brush files, you gotta copy them to your presets folder.
It's in C-PROGRAM FILES-ADOBE-ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS 2 - PRESETS - BRUSHES - ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ONLY.

After you did that, open up photoshop, do not copy the files to brushes folder with photoshop open,
now open photoshop, do your thing , then follow this picture on how to use brushes.

First select the brush tool, then go to your graphic and right click on it, but it's better
if you first create a new layer, you can choose that right under your photoshop window, all the way to the layers section, next to the garbage can. Then right click on your graphic and you have the brushes window, you can also click on the little arrow, it opens up your brushes list, you can select a specific one and you can reset or load them, and you have the option to choose for a small or big thumbnail etc.

I hope this helped you.

Hmm, I have absolutely no idea why that would happen, perhaps you need to clean up your PC ?
Is the tutorial huge or is it just 1 and is it a rar file or a PNG file, perhaps you need winrar or acdsee.
What are your PC specs ?
