1987 NBA Finals Games 1~6 (Celtics vs. Lakers) - added public links - 05-08-2007, 02:21 PM

(Games from the 1985 Finals, which I uploaded earlier, are still in this post: 1985 NBA Finals Games 1~6, Celtics vs. Lakers )

In English. The quality is okay; I tried to rip with as little quality loss as possible, but the sources weren't too shiny in the first place.

The files are hosted on a private server. My domain's been acting up since I switched to another registrar, so I strongly recommend using a download manager to download (even more than before. *g*)

Please do not share the links on other forums.

Game One @ L.A. (126-113, Lakers) - 1.18 gb

Game Two @ L.A. (141-122, Lakers) - 1.12 gb
Includes an interview with Isiah Thomas over the 'if Larry Bird were black, he'd be just another good player' foolishness. Sigh.

Game Three @ Boston (109-103, Celtics) - 1.14 gb

Game Four @ Boston (107-106, Lakers) - 764 mb
Magic's babyhook game. This file is only smaller than the others because the source was much better.

Game Five @ Boston (123-108, Celtics) - 1.24 gb

Game Six @ L.A. (106-93, Lakers) - 1.15 gb

1987 Drive For Five - 352 mb
Bonus documentary covering the Lakers' side of that year.

Note re: Games 1~3, 5~6 -- You need to display the files at a 4:3 aspect ratio. It's coded into the files, so they should play at 4:3 automatically, but some media players ignore that. You can download the VLC player ( http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ ), which is what I use -- Windows Media Player also plays them at the proper ratio for me -- or, if your media player has the option, you can just switch the aspect ratio to 4:3 by hand.

once I get 100, am getting this one, your 85 series was classic and very easy to download for such a files. I think I do got one of this games in my Collection, but the whole series is bananas.

Oh, bah, sorry, I forgot about the resolution issue. *adds to post* You need to display some of the files at a 4:3 aspect ratio; it's coded into the files, so they should play at 4:3 automatically, but some media players ignore that. You can download the VLC player, which is what I use (Windows Media Player also plays them at the proper ratio for me), or, if your media player has the option, you can just switch the aspect ratio to 4:3 by hand.

Thanks for the reminder, and do please tell me if there are any other problems with the files.
