umm im semi-ignorant when it comes to this kinda stuff but how do these mkv files work?

like what format are they... and how do you join them? can they be used for mixing etc.

They work on vlc player and you need to download the file splitter and that joiner .exe program to rejoin it back together. I split it up because sendspace doesnt let you upload more than 300mb.
