Well here it is. The list for the best basketball download sites/live NBA sites on the web.

Please post/reply telling what you think are the best websites out of this list, suggest new sites you may have recently found and want me to add to the list, and particularly just keep this thread alive!

(the main site, obviously. Nothing free but best quality of highlight videos, etc.)

(A site with ONLY rapidshare files as far as I know. Is a great link that has pretty much every regular season game of this year (2008-09) and now has a playoff thread. Which is the above link. (Its actually a Russian thread that features mostly English commentary. You can use a site translator (Google has one) that helps you turn the website into an English one. I've found this website to have the quickest uploads out of all the websites on the list. But the set back is that if you're in the US, half of a game can take up to an hour to download. Has a lot of HD stuff though.)

(This site is actually a thread post that is in Spanish, but has an organized list of all the games from this recent season. You have to be a member though, which is free. But this site has probably the second fastest uploads, behind that one German site. Once again, you can use the Google translator. Most files are in Megaupload in this post if I remember right, but they may also be in an upload on Rapidshare. Also! If you go to the main thread page for basketball, you can find college games and old/vintage games too. Nice overall site.)

(It is what the name says. In HD. But the set back is that the most recent games you'll find are usually about three days old, but their the only site that'll have them in HD in a torrent. You have to be a member, but thats free and simple. Its in English. Also, the main files that are suggested are torrent files, but their are also SendSpace and Rapidshare links if you want 'em.

(A site that provides live streaming of the NBA and is the most dependable on good quality of live games, but I've found a lot of times that many of the links do not work. But if they do, they are usually in as best quality of a live streaming of an NBA game that you can find. They also provide regular TV shows, ESPN, MLB, college basketball, tennis, soccer, hockey, and just anything imaginable at times. I've even found Badmitton before. LOL.)

(ballers-nba, or also more well-known as "Taghoops" is a Live streaming website of NBA games. Though the quality of the stream usually varies widely, most are just watchable. I still suggest waiting the next day to download and watch the games because the quality is noticeably different, but if you are eager to see a particular game, go to this site for guaranteed live streaming of NBA games.

(If all else fails with live streaming, use justin.tv and go to the Sports category and then the subcategory of basketball, their are usually all of the games on live streaming apparently, but a lot of them are just spam streams that lead to more spam and possible virus'. So this is basically your last resort.)

(This is a site that has a lot of Special Edition DVD's like Hardwood Collections and other special, special stuff. lol. But recently it has had people posting full games from various websites so I thought I would just suggest this site.)

(Sport-Scene is a site with only torrent files. You have to register, but its free. The only setback, well actually one of the setbacks is that their are some crazy rules if I remember right. But I've just had a bad experience with that site so I guess disregard that statement. Many people have liked the site so I suggest you explore it.)

And their you have it. The main basketball sites I go to and pretty much all of them out there (that are actually good.) Make sure to thanks them when you finish any download that you consider satisfying, because they do this pretty much free and its a gift everyday to have 'em.

Pretty cool list. Thanks. I'm not a fan of torrents because I think it's a pain in the butt...or maybe I'm just doing everything wrong. Either way, I like to just download directly from an upload site.

Oh. I personally love torrents. All you do is click the download link (which the torrent file is like always 1.5 kilobytes) and it opens up your torrent client (I use Azureus, or also called Vuze, its awesome) and walah. Come back to my computer about 3 hours later and its usually done or close to it.

I actually dislike host sites, particularly Rapidshare. You have to repeatedly come back to your computer to open up the other link then (I am a nonmember) wait for the countdown where your allowed to download. Its ridiculous.

Megaupload is awesome. Usually only like two links, and you can just watch the video's on megavideo off the download link. So really, you can just watch it there. No download required. But torrents are still my favorite.

But really it all depends on your location and speed of your internet.
