One of the most amazing feats of any basketball player anywhere in the world was Drazen's leading his Sibenca team to the Yugoslavian championship in 1983 (somebody correct my spelling or chronology, if i don't remember correctly). That is the unified Yugoslavia - essentially the champion of Serbia and Croatia and Slovenia and Bosnia/Herzegovina and Montenegro. I believe he didn't have a single teammate that was playing for the national team back then. It was a small town team, that never had accomplished anything before and never has accomplished anything since. A team that epitomized the term "giant killers". It's one of the most unbelievable basketball stories that i personally know. If that's not enough, the final game had a dramatic, controversial ending (a last second, one point win) that set off wild celebrations at the tiny gym that served as Sibenca's home court. Somebody should upload this gem here one day. It's really worth it.
