Every season since I can remember, former Carolina players come back in the summer to play against the current team. It's just a fun thing to watch for the students and families.
This year the big names didn't come. I guess the two biggest would be Dante (white dude with the sweet stroke) and Jawad (Cavs practice stuff) for the former players. The other guys on the former include: Shammond (plays in Spain now, I think he was on the Lakers for a short stint), Hot Pocket (former WR and notorious chucker off the bench), Bobby (he was just on the team...), Woods (same as Bobby's), Scott (backup PG on the 05 championship team), and some KU kid. Last year had Stack and a few others. Just something they do for the students and families.
Actually, the North Carolina Pro-Am is going on right now too. That's where you have players in college, from the pros, and high school kids on mixed different teams and they play each other. That has more notable names like Stack, Raymond, Flip, Beasley, Duhon, and Marvin from the pros. Singler, Davis, Henson, Curry, and Scheyer from college. Leslie and Smith as the more known high school stars.
Rosters are right here:
